El Brillante - Utrecht (Tango!)
"Where is El Brillante in Utrecht?"
A question asked many, many times. The address is Biltstraat 337 / 3501 BD UTRECHT.
Public Transportation:
From Central Station:
Take bus 4 Fockema Andrealaan , or 11 Fockema Andrealaan
(stop Biltstraat/Poortstraat).
When leaving the bus go left, pass the traffic light with chinese
drugstore, walk straight ahead until passage (you can see a sign with OVERCOME CHURCH). Walk underneath passage, go left, follow pebbles-path and you are at "EL BRILLANTE".
Travel bij car / trike / quad / motorcycle (From Amsterdam direction):
From A2, at UTRECHT follow ARNHEM A12
Follow HOUTEN
Take HOUTEN,
At traffic lights take direction: LUNETTEN/CENTRUM/DEN
HAAG.
Then follow direction Lunetten/Hoograven and the WATERLINIEWEG
Follow this road for about 5 km.
Follow direction Witte-Vrouwen (De Bilt/Zeist).
At roundabout stay left. Follow white signs "BUITEN
WITTEVROUWEN".
Keep following the signs BUITEN WITTEVROUWEN, follow this road, pass railroad crossing to small roundabout, go left.
Take first small street right.
Take first street right MALIESTRAAT.
take second street left,
first street right,
Follow this street till traffic lights!
At traffic lights go right (biking trail)
After about 150 m right under passage - go left under a small arch parking lot EL
BRILLANTE.

Agenda Taboe Tango 2008
Op Taboe (Neo Tango) draait men telkens weer nieuwe Tango, maar vooral ook neo- en non-tango muziek.
Zo'n 150 dansers en toch veel ruimte.
Iedere laatste vrijdag van de maand (niet in juli!) is er de Taboe Tango salon met veel lekkere hapjes en gratis parkeren. De salon is in de prachtige en grote ronde zaal van Christophorus Duinweg 35 - 3735 LC in Bosch en Duin (vlakbij Utrecht).
